Umc was established in 1951 as a supplier of replacement spare parts (primarily chassis parts). consequent to establishing a firm customer base, the company ventured into manufacturing. with backward integration as its aim, a small manufacturing unit for multi-leaf springs and u-bolts was set up. from a very small beginning envisaged to cater to the domestic aftermarket, today the umc group has grown substantially.

subsequently umc ventured into the international market (a david among goliaths). there were renowned and world famous manufacturers from the developed world such as germany, japan and england. however with sheer determination to succeed and commitment to supply quality products together with the constant support of our valued clients, today the name umc is synonymous with quality, durability and consistency.
