Sahyadri Starch & Industries Pvt. Ltd. Was established in the year 1982 by Honorable Mr. J. H. Majithia the Managing Director of the company with the aim of providing Indian Market with excellent Quality starch and its derivatives and generate jobs for the youth and upgrading the living standards of surrounding people.


The company is by and large successful in above mission as its products are considered to be the best Quality product not only for Indian Market but also for South East Asia. The company has already provided jobs for more than 400 people, most of them from local surrounding area. Continuous expansion and diversification has given edge to the company to become competitive.

Sahyadri Starch is the only starch manufacturing company in India to have started as a small scale industry and grown to be a major industry which is an important milestone for the company. The company has established and maintaining a water effluent treatment plant which is considered to be the best in the area. A waste to energy plant has given tremendous boost to the company in terms of saving conventional energy and environmental protection.
