NMT Group of Industries, started its activities in the year 1975, with small beginning and a burning desire of innovative idea to manufacture import substitute products in India, in span of nearly three decades, we have succeeded in our unstinted efforts proving that the products manufactured in India be better than the best to the imported.

Technocrat Mr. Kanubhai-a qualified engineer, by his profession and was associated with the largest machinery manufacturing unit in Gujarat, grooming himself to a wide and practical engineering background.


Mr. Kanubhai's Idea as to - when we have all the intelligentsia and thorough ingenuity / knowledge and working atmosphere, why not an indigenous product made to suite Indian conditions at economical cost and easily available without any hassle and deadlock. Of course, initially this was not received in true spirit by R & D engineers / deciding authorities, in view of suspicion in successfully functioning and reluctant to adapt to the new concept shifting from using imported to substituted items.

Successfully developed sprags, used in one way clutches as well as items for tap changer - electric Locomotives & other products since1980. Continue R & D is our strength to offer best possible solution to our customers.

Our products are used all over India by all medium & heavy industries - Projects and are functioning successfully. We have started exporting also.
